Goodrich & Watson is proud to share a heartwarming story of community involvement and dedication. On Saturday, October 28th, five members of our team took a stand against Alzheimer’s disease by participating in the Alzheimer’s Association Southeastern Virginia Chapter’s Walk to End Alzheimer’s in Williamsburg. This event was not just a walk; it was a collective expression of our commitment to the community and the relentless fight against Alzheimer’s.

As an insurance agency deeply rooted in the communities throughout Hampton Roads that we serve, Goodrich & Watson believes in making a difference beyond our professional services. The Walk to End Alzheimer’s presented an opportunity for our team to actively participate in a cause close to our hearts. Alzheimer’s has touched the lives of many of our clients and their families, and this event allowed us to stand in solidarity with them.

The day was unusually warm for late October, but it was perfect weather for such an event! This event brought together people from all walks of life, caregivers, families, and supporters, each with a shared goal – to raise awareness and funds to combat Alzheimer’s. This event underscored the strength of our community’s unity in the face of a relentless disease. It was a poignant reminder of the collective power we possess when we come together for a common cause.

We encourage everyone who has been touched by Alzheimer’s or feels passionate about finding a cure to join this crucial cause. Whether you choose to volunteer, raise funds, or spread awareness, your involvement is invaluable.

Let’s come together as a community to bring hope and move closer to a future without Alzheimer’s. The Walk to End Alzheimer’s is not just a walk; it’s a walk of compassion, unity, and determination. Join us in making a difference in the battle against Alzheimer’s disease. Together, we can bring about change.
